State and Non-Federal Funding
The PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is accepting applications for their Community Conservation Partnerships Program Grants, assisting local governments and recreation and conservation organizations with funding for projects related to parks, recreation, and conservation. This application period is only open once a year from January to April. Apply by April 2, 2025.
The PA Department of Community and Economic Development is accepting applications for the Local Government Emergency Housing Support (LGEHS) program, designed to provide immediate and targeted assistance to local governments and nonprofit organizations responding to housing needs following natural or man-made disasters. Local governments and nonprofits can apply by April 15, 2025.
The PA Department of Community and Economic Development will soon be accepting applications for the COVID-19 ARPA Capital Projects Fund Digital Connectivity Technology Program (DCTP).This program aims to increase access to technology devices where affordability has been identified as a barrier to broadband adoption and use. The PBDA will distribute $20,000,000 in devices through a competitive grant process to public-facing community anchor institutions and units of local government. Applications open on April 1, 2025, and will close on May 30, 2025.
The PA Department of Community and Economic Development is accepting applications for the Abandoned Mine Drainage Abatement and Treatment Program (AMDATP). This program allocates funding for abandoned mine drainage, abatement, and treatment. Applications are due by May 31, 2025.
The PA Department of Community and Economic Development is accepting applications for the PA Small Water and Sewer (SWS). This program awards grants to municipalities and municipal authorities for water, sewer, storm water and flood control projects with a cost of not less than $30,000 and not more than $500,000. Apply by May 31, 2025.
