News from Representative Deluzio

March Monthly Grants Newsletter

Dear Friend,

For this monthly grants newsletter, I wanted to take a moment to say how proud I am to represent the good people of Western Pennsylvania. Even amidst President Trump's illegal federal funding freeze, you continue to be resilient, ask questions, and reach out. It is the honor of my lifetime to serve you, and I will keep doing everything I can to share the most updated information on federal funding.

Remember: if you are the recipient of a federal grant and have been notified that this funding is no longer available to you or are experiencing other issues accessing your lawfully appropriated funds, please share your concerns with me and my team at PA17Grants@mail.house.gov

Community Project Funding Update

Unfortunately, when the House Republican Majority passed the temporary government funding bill known as a Continuing Resolution that funds the government through 9/30/2025, they did not include any FY25 Community Project Funding. That means that none of the 15 Community Projects that we had solicited during the FY25 process and submitted for inclusion in the government funding bill were included in the bill or are able to move forward. We are still waiting for guidelines and confirmation on whether FY26 Community Project Funding will be available to constituents. To receive future updates on the Appropriations Community Project Funding process, please subscribe to this Grants Newsletter. For questions related to Community Project Funding, please email me and my team at PA17Grants@mail.house.gov

Municipal Leaders' Breakfast

Tomorrow, March 22nd from 9:00-11:00am, I will be meeting with PA17 municipal leaders to discuss updates from Washington, D.C. and to hear directly from you on the answers you need from our government. Please submit the form below if you plan to attend. I look forward to meeting with you soon!

Given that grant programs are fluctuating by agency, my team and I highly recommend that you follow relevant agency newsletters and check grants.gov to see what grants are canceled, paused, or may have changed eligibility criteria.
