April Monthly Grants Newsletter

Dear Friend,

For this monthly grants newsletter, I am happy to announce that I have opened up applications for Fiscal Year 2026 Community Project Funding. As a reminder, Community Project Funding (CPF) allows Members of Congress to request direct federal funding for specific projects benefiting the communities we represent. The funds are provided through the annual government funding bills drafted by the House Committee on Appropriations. Since no FY25 CPF projects were included in the House Republican Majority’s Continuing Resolution bill, I will be prioritizing these re-submissions for FY26 CPF. However, we still encourage all eligible applicants to apply. Our application form will close at 5pm on April 25, 2025.

Applications are OPEN:
Fiscal Year 2026 Community Project Funding

You can use the request form below to apply for Fiscal Year 2026 Community Project Funding (CPF). I want to be clear that Members of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives may request no more than 15 CPF requests across all eligible accounts each year. This is a highly competitive program. If you are looking for emergency funding, I would suggest that you contact my team at PA17Grants@mail.house.gov to look for other federal funding opportunities. My FY26 CPF request form will close at 5pm on April 25, 2025.

Federal Funding

Given that grant programs are fluctuating by agency, my team and I recommend that you follow relevant agency newsletters and check grants.gov to see what grants are canceled, paused, or may have changed eligibility criteria.

Remember: if you are the recipient of a federal grant and have been notified that this funding is no longer available to you or are experiencing other issues accessing your lawfully appropriated funds, please share your concerns with me and my team at PA17Grants@mail.house.gov.
