President Trump Visits West Texas
Dear Friend,
Below, you will find a recap of my trip to West Texas with President Trump. To ensure you’re receiving the latest updates from Washington and across West Texas, I encourage you to follow me on Twitter and Facebook.
I was honored to join President Trump as he experienced first-hand the patriotic people and values of West Texas first-hand. The President has been a true champion for the hard-working agriculture and energy producers who feed and fuel our nation — the forgotten men and women of rural America.
Having a pro-energy, pro-ag, pro-rural America President flying into the Food, Fuel, and Fiber Capital of the World is a special kind of awesome! I was so proud of all the folks who turned out to greet him and participate in the event.
President Trump signed four permits granting approval to vital pipeline and railway infrastructure on our Nation’s border. Watch his remarks from the event below and see a fact sheet courtesy of the White House that explains how the steps taken during his presidency have allowed the oil and gas industry to thrive.

On the flight back from Odessa, I told President Trump that West Texas’ greatest contribution isn’t food, fuel and fiber, it’s our faith in God.
Over 100 ladies from Lubbock, who pray regularly for our country and our President, had a beautiful quilt of Bible verses made, which I presented to the President. They wanted him to know, and be encouraged by the fact, that folks were praying for him.
You want to know what makes America great? These West Texas women and millions of praying people just like them who still believe in our nation’s motto, “In God We Trust."

It is an honor to be your Representative. Feel free to forward this newsletter to our fellow West Texans and encourage them to sign up here for this weekly update.
