ICYMI: Arrington Will Object to Electoral College Certification

Dear Friend,

Today, Congress will convene in a joint session to count the electoral votes and certify the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election. This is a responsibility that I do not take lightly, and I want to keep you apprised of my efforts and rationale.

Yesterday, I led 40 of my Republican colleagues in sending a letter to Speaker Pelosi outlining the constitutional importance of Congress’ joint session, and reminded her of a few statements she made in 2016 when Democrats contested the certification of President Donald Trump.
