The Shocking Reality of Biden’s Border Crisis

Friend,

I led a team of 13 members of the Texas Delegation on a tour of the U.S.-Mexico Border to get a firsthand look at the crisis occurring. Not only is this a heartbreaking, humanitarian crisis, Biden’s Border Crisis is a constitutional crisis. The Commander in Chief’s first and most important job is to provide for the general welfare of the public, but President Biden is choosing to appease the Radical Left instead of protecting our citizens. The border is burning out of control with absolute chaos because of this Administration’s policies. A free-for-all at the southern border is not compassionate or humane like Democrats want to believe. When our laws aren’t enforced, chaos ensues and people suffer. Photos from our Southern Border Tour:

1. Alongside local law enforcement and South Texas landowners, I led a press conference at Anzalduas Park in Mission, Texas to demand Biden start prioritizing the security and safety of the American people now.

Image2. The broken border wall represents our broken immigration system. Only sheer will and political
courage will fix it—yet our President won’t even acknowledge there is a crisis at hand.

3. Law enforcement at all levels on the southern border have had their legs completely cut out from under them because of Biden’s disastrous policies.

4. Richard Guerra—a local rancher from South Texas—shared that he doesn’t feel safe leaving his family alone at their home because so many illegal immigrants are coming across his property daily. Landowners are finding more cut fences, destroyed property, dead bodies, and rogue firearms more than ever.

5. I had the opportunity to speak with unaccompanied migrant children in Carrizo Springs, Texas. These young boys, between the ages of 14 and 17, acknowledged they came to America because they knew the Biden Administration would not turn them away.

6. Reps. Beth Van Dyne (TX-24), Louie Gohmert (TX-1), Ronny Jackson (TX-13), and I drove next to the Rio Grande late at night to witness firsthand migrant families emerging from the river to find CBP to turn themselves in.

7. I met with DEA agents upon arriving in McAllen, Texas—they explained how the men and women fighting on the frontlines are severely outnumbered and need help now.

8. Rep. Brian Babin (TX-36) and I before a Newsmax hit to inform the public on our findings on the border—standing next to a shallow area of the Rio Grande—where local officials told us illegal migrants cross daily.

9. The team at DFO Laredo process more commercial trucks than anyone else in the United States. This truck filled to the brim with marijuana bricks is a glimpse into the thousands of pounds of deadly drugs Mexican cartels are trying to sneak into America.

10. Local folks need our help—I spoke with local officials, landowners, educators, and healthcare workers in McAllen, Texas to hear their heartbreaking, personal stories about what is going on at the border.

11. DHS and CBP boats patrol day and night, searching for smugglers who bring people and drugs across the border everyday.
