WEST TEXAS WRAP-UP
Dear Friend,
Last week, I was glad to be back home in West Texas working hard on your behalf. To ensure you’re receiving the latest updates from Washington and across West Texas, I encourage you to follow me on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. After winning their THIRD National Championship, it was my honor to celebrate with the LCU Lady Chaps in Lubbock. Congrats again to these young ladies, Coach Gomez, and all of Chaparral Nation. Y’all represent the best of West Texas!
Proud to join Commanders Sumangil and Young in hosting Acting Secretary of the Air Force, John Roth, highlighting the strategic importance and unique mission of our base. Acting Secretary Roth saw firsthand the deep connection and unmatched support the Abilene Community has for Dyess and its airmen.
Good visit with WTX producers at Walt Haygood’s farm. As a member of the Committee on Ways and Means Tax & Trade subcommittees—being a voice for Ag has never been more important!
Cotton is king in WTX! Great to be with the Texas Cotton Ginners and Plains Cotton Growers Associations.

Thank you to Laramie, Walt, and my friends from the Texas Farm Bureau for the Outstanding Service Award. It’s an honor to serve our great nation and fight for WTX farmers, ranchers and those families living in rural America.

It is an honor to represent you in Congress. Feel free to forward this newsletter to our fellow West Texans and encourage them to sign up here for updates.
Your friend and fellow West Texan,
Jodey C. Arrington Member of Congress |
