Arrington: Our Veterans Are Living Monuments of Sacrifice, Courage, Valor, and Patriotism

Today, Rep. Arrington released the following video message commemorating Veterans Day and thanking our veterans in West Texas and across the nation for their service and sacrifice.

“Happy Veterans Day to all Americans as we celebrate our heroes – those who wore the uniform and were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom. Thank you to those one-percenters of every generation who put it all on the line for the greatest country in the world. We treasure you. You are a monument of sacrifice, courage, valor, and patriotism. All that’s good about America is embodied in you. You're living monuments to American values and to our great experiment in liberty and democracy – which only has persisted because of your great courage and love for country. I just want you to know it gives me the utmost pride and satisfaction to know that I get to fight for those who fought for us and do my part to make sure that we keep the American Dream and the land of freedom and opportunity alive for the next generation. My service pales in comparison to those who served in the armed forces but today, we all rally around you, our beloved veterans. And as I’ve said before, thank you for being willing to give up your today for our tomorrow. God bless you; God bless all of our veterans in this country; God bless America and go West Texas!”
