PASS THE ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL
There’s a lot of noise in Washington right now about H.R.1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The reality is this transformative package includes historic tax cuts, record investment in border and national security, and unlocks American energy dominance - accomplishing all of this while reducing spending by $1.7 trillion, the largest spending reform package in American history by two-fold. America's Golden Age is within reach, but Republicans must come together in order for us to seize it.
I'm teaming up with my good friend, fellow West Texan, and Chairman of the Republican Study Committee August Pfluger in calling on the Senate to immediate pass this bill.

TRUE OR FALSE WITH TREASURY SECRETARY SCOTT BESSENT
As the Democrats continue their all-out assault on the truth when discussing our One Big Beautiful Bill and the tax cuts we are delivering to American families, I asked Secretary Bessent some true or false questions to set the record straight.

LOS ANGELES RIOTS
What we’re witnessing in LA is the consequence of four years of Democrats' lawlessness and pandering to the Radical Left.
They fein indignation about Republicans being a “threat to democracy” because it serves their political interests, but are deafeningly silent when criminal aliens commit crimes against American citizens or when the violent mob attacks federal law enforcement.
MORE SENSELESS CRIME
My heart breaks for Jimmy Friesenhahn — a United States Marine who deployed multiple times over his 14-year career — only to be shot by an illegal alien released from jail four separate times by a Democrat District Attorney in San Antonio.
Another tragic and needless victim of the Left’s lawless policies.
THE COST OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report on the ‘Effects of the Surge in Immigration on State and Local Budgets in 2023’. The report shows the Biden-era immigration surge amounted to a direct net cost of $9.8 billion to state and local governments in 2023 alone.
The cost of the border crisis is real, and finally – after years of claiming illegal immigration saved money – the CBO is confirming what we’ve said all along: Biden’s open border not only flooded our communities with drugs and crime, but cost billions of taxpayer dollars and drained the safety net programs on which vulnerable American citizens rely.
This is just another reason why passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act – the largest single investment in border security and national defense – is so important. We must ensure President Trump has the resources he needs to permanently secure the border and do the first and most important job of the federal government – provide for the common defense.
REMEMBERING D-DAY
81 years ago, Allied forces launched the largest amphibious invasion in history.
2,501 Americans were killed on D-Day alone, with thousands more perishing in the Battle of Normandy that followed.
This is just one example of the price paid for freedom. Without the sacrifice of these brave men, the world would look very different today.
Remember them. Honor them.
Congratulations Texas Tech Softball on a Historic Season
Our Texas Tech Lady Raiders softball team battled all season long with an impressive drive, determination, and an unmistakable West Texas will to win that carried them to the first Big 12 Championship and first College World Series appearance in program history.
Coach Glasco and his Lady Raiders represented the best of West Texas values – hardworking, humble, and pure class on and off the field.
Guns up and go West Texas.
