ImageHello,

I'm pleased to share this newsletter on a monthly basis to provide information about grants and funding opportunities that are currently available.

I am aware that many of you are likely facing financial uncertainty and hardship from the Trump administration's illegal freezing and cancelation of federal funds. If you are requesting assistance with a federal funding freeze, you can fill out this form here

You can also learn more about grants on my website here. For any federal grant, you are welcome to request a letter of support to submit alongside your application. I wish you the best of luck on your grant application and I hope you find this newsletter helpful.

  • Congratulations to Bright Spark Early Learning Services who were recently awarded funding from the Department of Health and Human Services for their Early Head Start program.

  • Rep. Adam Smith submitted 15 Community Project Funding requests to the House Committee on Appropriations for consideration in the FY 2026 appropriations bill. Submitting projects to the House Appropriations Committee is the first step in the process and does not guarantee they will be funded. Rep. Smith will continue to advocate for this funding to be passed by Congress and signed into law.
    • You can see the 15 selected community projects on our website here.
