Walkersville Middle School Classroom Discussion

On November 6th, I had a sensational afternoon discussing the Constitution with the amazingly bright and engaged 7th graders at Walkersville Middle School. Go Lions!

Rockville Veterans Day Commemoration

I was moved by the Rockville Veterans Day Ceremony in Veterans Park last month honoring local veterans who continue to serve and inspire. I am a proud cosponsor of the Wage Adjustment for Veterans Enrolled in School Act, bipartisan legislation I introduced after meeting vets at the Rockville ceremony who would have greatly benefited from increased wages created by this bill. Rest assured, I am committed to working with veterans in Maryland and my colleagues in Congress to improve the lives of all our nation’s veterans.

Coffee With Your Congressman in Walkersville

I hosted "Coffee With Your Congressman" at the beautiful Walkersville Public Library and met with dozens of Frederick County constituents who joined me to talk about prescription drug pricing reform and funding the federal government.

Recognizing Our District's Small Business Community

Ahead of Small Business Saturday, I was thrilled to visit Los Chorros in Wheaton and present owner Omar Lazo with a congressional citation! Our state's thriving small business community depends on hardworking entrepreneurs like him.
