Talking with constituents
This week, I held town halls in Harrison Township and Richmond. I appreciated having the chance to hear from you about how I can best serve you. We discussed a wide range of topics including infrastructure, out of control spending, voter integrity, the Democratic power grab of H.R. 1 and the upcoming budget.
As your Congresswoman, the best way for me to represent you is to be accessible and listen to your concerns and priorities. As my constituents, you are my boss. I hope you can join me for my town halls next week in Lapeer, Sandusky and Caro.
Discovering the real Dr. Fauci
You may have seen this week that emails from Dr. Fauci from early on in the COVID-19 pandemic have been released. We learned a lot, including how he told China we would "get through this together." Instead of holding the Chinese Communist Party accountable for spreading this virus across the world, Dr. Fauci wanted to work with them.
We continue to see how the CCP is contrary to every belief we hold dear as Americans. It is upsetting to see the nation's top doctor, who is supposed to lead us through this once in a century pandemic, buddy up to our adversary. It is past time for Dr. Fauci to step aside and allow us to investigate the origins of COVID-19, and hold the CCP accountable.
Supporting our Libraries
Last weekend, I delivered books from the Library of Congress to the Chesterfield library. Reading allows everyone to continue their education and I was excited to contribute to expanding the libraries collection.
