As we feared, the attack at our Pensacola Naval base last December was an act of terror.

Yesterday, Attorney General Barr announced the FBI found evidence the Saudi national who killed three U.S. sailors and wounded many more had been in contact with Al-Qaeda operatives for years leading up to the attacks.

Nearly six months later, the FBI finally accessed the attacker’s iPhone – without the help of Apple – to access this critical information. It shouldn’t take sixth months for our law enforcement to get this information. We must be able to have all resources available to prevent more deaths on American soil.
