Coffee Breaks with Kim

Dear Friend,

One of my favorite parts of being a member of Congress is meeting constituents around the district and learning about their lives and the issues that matter to them. I’ve been disappointed that I haven’t been able to hold in-person town halls with you during this pandemic. With so much of our lives now taking place online, these Coffee Breaks will allow me to hear from 8th district residents, and for them to hear from me, while being safe.

Since taking office, I’ve held 44 town halls, including four telephone town halls specifically on the coronavirus in the last few months. As we continue social distancing, Coffee Breaks with Kim is an effort to continue to stay connected during this public health crisis. This will be an opportunity for you to share your views and ask questions related to the federal COVID-19 response as well as raise any other issues that are important to you.

The Coffee Breaks will be open to residents of the selected town and surrounding towns, capped at 50 attendees. To ensure participation, residents must RSVP at the links below. Attendees are encouraged to submit their questions ahead of time through the RSVP form.

More will be announced in the coming weeks, but the first round are:

Thursday, June 11th – Enumclaw at 5:30pm RSVP HERE

Thursday, June 18th – Ellensburg at 5:30pm RSVP HERE

Thursday, June 25th – Snoqualmie at 5:30pm RSVP HERE

Saturday, June 27th – Bonney Lake at 2:00pm RSVP HERE

I hope to “see” you at one of these Coffee Breaks or at one in the future. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office with questions or if we can be of assistance.

Stay safe and healthy. More soon.

Sincerely,
