Meeting with North Carolina's Veterans & Servicemembers

Triad Honor Flight: Congresswoman Manning Welcomes Veterans from NC-06 to Washington, D.C.

Congresswoman Manning speaks with Bob Gobble, a 99-year-old World War II Veteran from Guilford County at the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC. 

Honoring Pleasant Garden's Veterans

Congresswoman Manning presented veterans from Pleasant Garden with Congressional recognitions to show her appreciation for their service, bravery, and sacrifice. 

Meeting with North Carolina Active Duty Medic in South Korea

Congresswoman Manning joined a bipartisan group of Representatives in visiting United States Forces Korea, where she met with an active-duty medic from North Carolina. 

Kernersville VA Clinic Visit

Congresswoman Manning toured the Kernersville VA Clinic, a state-of-the-art veteran’s care facility, to learn more about the services offered to the more than 32,000 veterans treated at the facility annually. 

Serving Thanksgiving Dinner to Fort Bragg Troops

To show her appreciation on Thanksgiving, Congresswoman Manning served dinner to troops at Fort Bragg. 

Disabled American Veterans of Guilford County

The Disabled American Veterans of Guilford County met with Congresswoman Manning in her local office. 

Supporting Veterans in NC-06

Congresswoman Manning Advocates, Gets Answers for Local Veterans

Working with local veterans who eagerly anticipate the opening of the Kernersville State Veterans Home, Congresswoman Manning sent a letter to the NC Department of Military and Veteran Affairs. 

The Department provided Congresswoman Manning with an anticipated opening time and answers to each of the questions Congresswoman Manning asked on behalf of local veterans.

Delivering Benefits and Justice to Veterans Exposed to Toxins

Congresswoman Manning supported the Honoring Our PACT Act, legislation to finally treat toxic exposure as a cost of war. With Congresswoman Manning's support, the bill passed through Congress and was signed into law, now helping millions of veterans access health care. 

This bill also included the Camp Lejeune Justice Act which would allow service members at Camp Lejeune to recover damages from harm sustained because of exposure to contaminated water on base. 

Supporting Veterans Through Casework

Congresswoman Manning's local team stands ready to support the veterans of NC-06. Veterans can reach out to her local office to get assistance receiving VA care or benefits, retrieving military records, and more.

Congresswoman Manning's team attended the VA Stand Down event, a day focused on meeting veterans in the community who may need assistance.
