Health and Human Services Sec. Azar Hearing
Sec. Alex Azar joined Ways and Means to discuss the proposed FY2021 budget and how that impacts the healthcare of rural Americans in the food, fuel, and fiber capital of the world. We must put petty politics aside to ensure West Texans and all Americans have access to basic care. I look forward to leading efforts as Co-Chair of the Rural Health Task Force on this issue. Ways and Means China Trade Relationship Hearing
China has been taking us for a ride for years, but thanks to the Phase One China trade agreement, farmers in West Texas can finally see greener pastures ahead. God bless President Trump

Big 12 on the Hill Day
Enjoyed meeting with the Texas Tech student government leaders who came by my office for Big 12 Conference on the Hill day! It is encouraging and inspiring to see our next generation leading on issues that matter to them and the future of this country.
National FFA Week
This national FFA Week, I was proud to highlight our office’s agriculture legislative assistant, Kaley. A former FFA officer and Haskell native, Kaley’s knowledge of the industry, and passion for helping the producers of West Texas is invaluable. It is my honor to represent the current and future ag leaders in TX 19.
