News from Representative Carson

November 13, 2020

Dear Friend,

As our nation embarks on another transfer of power, we are reminded that what remains constant is our deep respect for the Americans who have served our country. This week, we celebrated Veterans Day, which gave us an opportunity to pause and reflect on all they have done for our nation.

Our Veterans understand better than anybody that the freedoms and opportunities in our country are not guaranteed. They must be protected. America’s Veterans haven’t only been engaged in the fight to safeguard our country from threats outside our borders. They also have been at the forefront of movements to expand our freedoms within our own country -- serving as pioneers in the fight for racial justice, LGBTQ equality, gender equality and more.

On behalf of our community, I want to say “thank you” to all the Veterans here in Indiana and across America. We are forever grateful for your courage and sacrifices. I will continue working hard in Congress to make sure you have the resources you need to thrive. You fought for us, and we’ll keep fighting for you!

Your Friend,
