District Update |February 7, 2022

Dear Friend,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Last week was busy in our nation's capital. Below, please find an update of my recent work in Congress for the 6th district of Arizona.

Democrat Policies Cripple Our Vulnerable Populations

This past Friday, I spoke on the House Floor about several issues that hit close to home for all of us in Arizona. Particularly the border crisis, the surge in narcotics, homelessness, and the crippling pandemic restrictions.

All of these problems are connected through one theme: a broken and bloated federal government. To watch my full speech, please click the link here.

Fighting The Biden Administration’s 2025 Pandemic End Date

In last week’s newsletter, I wrote about the Democrats’ plan to extend the COVID-19 pandemic to 2025. They put this provision in their massive $230 billion “China” bill, hoping no one would notice. But I found it, and I couldn’t let it slide without a fight. That’s why I introduced an amendment to the Democrats’ bill that would strike that section from becoming law. Click this link to read more about my amendment.
