On MLK Day, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and recommit ourselves to the work of building beloved communities in which freedom and equality prevail. May Dr. King’s memory continue to inspire service to others as we strive to ensure a better future for all.

Today, my staff joined Thirteenth District constituents in Clayton County for the annual MLK Day parade. What a wonderful way to celebrate Dr. King's legacy!
Dr. King once stated, "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward." In any capacity, may we continue to keep moving forward through acts of kindness and service to those in our neighborhoods and communities.
