Dear Arthur,
Over the weekend Israel struck back against Iran, targeting crucial military facilities in response to Iran’s unprecedented ballistic missile attack earlier this month. The United States stands strong with Israel as they fight to defend their very existence.
I had a great day in Warren County at the Engemann family farm. I was joined by Missouri Farm Bureau President Garret Hawkins as we discussed agriculture across the District and issues along the Missouri River. I’m proud to represent hundreds of family farms like this one.
Thanks to the team at Deppe Farms in Franklin County last week for a productive visit where we discussed their incredible hog production operation and the ongoing challenges inflation is causing on their farm.
Between farm stops, we were able to stop in and enjoy a great burger at T&T Hilltop Lounge in New Haven.
Radical activists in the United Nations continue to call into question Israel’s right to defend itself. Earlier this month I called on the National Science Foundation to consider a proposal by the University of Missouri System that would bring together businesses and universities to support important research into critical minerals, which are used in batteries, microelectronics, and other important products. I am pleased to say they advanced to the next stage of the competition with just 70 other teams and have a real shot at winning the grant. Read more on this news here.
Sincerely,
Ann Wagner Member of Congress
